Tryout mode is just a Firebase anonymous login. You can let your users do things, like add items to a shopping cart, for example, but if they clear their cookies (or time does it for them) then the data with the temporary account will be lost.

If, however, you convince the user to register (or, for example, they buy something and provide an email address), you can 'link' the anonymous account to a real registration. You can find an example of how to do that in this project by checking out the Nav menu.
