Definition 1: ActionScript source code
An AS file can be source code file for the ActionScript programming language. It is used to build Adobe FlASh programs that run on the desktop, or in a web browser. It is not recommended to use Adobe FlASh on the Internet anymore, AS the language is obsolete, discontinued, and poses security risks. However, there are open source implementations of FlASh that are safe (such AS Ruffle)
